Explore the island

Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai can best be explored by bycicle or motorbike. You can rent bycicles and motorbikes together with your house-booking or once you have arrived at the island (local tourist offices or Khaodham staff).

Tourism here has not been developed as in Phuket or Krabi. You can still experience the island as it was centuries ago, observing local people going about their daily business.

There is much to do and to explore on the island Koh Yao but also on the surrounding islands Phuket, Krabi, Koh Phiphi, Phang Nga Bay and all the small little island such as Koh Nok, Koh Hong, Koh Bileh, which are all just a short boat ride away.

We have put together a list of suggestions for holiday activities for you, of course there are many more. Just like the bikes you can also book trips and activities while you book your house or directly on the island at one of the tourist offices along the street.
